AB  - In this work, gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were synthesized in aqueous solution by aldehyde functionalized microbial polysaccharide levan as a reducing agent. Resulting nanoparticles were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy and by particle size analysis.
