AB  - Овај број почињемо причом о историјату и развоју хемије у Србији, како је прошле године обележено 170 година од њеног доласка у нашу државу. Мина Радовановић, председница Студентског парламента Хемијског факултета, нам открива изазове које ова позиција носи са собом, као и планове за предстојећи период. У новој рубрици о актуелним пројектима на Хемијском факултету доцент др. Симеон Минић нас упознаје са пројектом Оснаживања потенцијала протеина из алги за бојење и фортификацију хране коришћењем технологије високог притиска – PRESSION. Даље се осврћемо на глобална научна достигнућа из хемије која су прошле године заслужила Нобелову награду. Нешто другачију врсту успеха, успех професора и асистената међу студентима, пратимо кроз разговор са онима који су на Позитроновој анкети имали највише гласова. Осим са њима, разговарамо и са Урошем Анђелковићем, алумнистом Хемијског факултета. Ана Ђорђевић, запослена у библиотеци Хемијског факултета, објашњава шта је то отворена наука и како је она примењена у оквиру пројекта GraspOs. After the establishment of the repository training was facilitated at the Faculty by librarians, where the primary target group were researchers. As the development of the repository took the direction towards a more intensive application of research data, the training changed both perspective and format. The training titled “Cherry Institutional Repository of Scientific Papers – Application of Open Science through National and European Projects” was held online for researchers who recognized the importance of a repository and the greater accessibility of notable research outputs through the internet, as well as the role of librarian in controlling the process of deposited records while maintaining accuracy and completeness. The purpose of the training was recognized by the board of the Faculty, after which the “Rulebook on Open Science at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Chemistry” was adopted. The improved practice of presenting repository possibilities has contributed to its more significant application by employed researchers. Usage statistics monitored through the appropriate DSpace module and through the Google Analytics platform. Thanks to the adoption of the rulebook for open science and easier online access for a greater number of users, the need for such trends have given rise to an increasing need for further training in a wider range of library and information topics.
AB  - На Хемијском факултету Универзитета у Београду све публикације и истраживачки подаци чији су аутори са афилијацијом Хемијског факултета и Иновационог центра депонују се у отворени институционални репозиторијум Cherry. По успостављању репозиторијума, библиотекари су организовали обуке за истраживаче, као циљну групу корисника пред којима је низ нових потреба, знања и вештина у области отворене науке. Како је развој репозиторијума текао у смеру веће заступљености истраживачких података, обуке су мењале свој контекст, али и форму одржавања излагања у просторијама факултета и преко интернета. Онлајн обука под називом „Cherry институционални репозиторијум научних радова – примена отворене науке кроз националне и европске пројекте”, одржана је за запослене истраживаче који су препознали значај успостављања репозиторијума, као и улогу библиотекарâ у процесу контроле депонованих записа, у највећој мери због тачности и комплетности записа, а у циљу повећања видљивости истакнутих научних радова и истраживачких података на светској мрежи. Управа Факултета прихватила је резултате обуке, након чега је усвојен „Правилник о отвореној науци на Универзитету у Београду – Хемијском факултету”. Добра континуирана пракса представљања могућности репозиторијума допринела је томе да га запослени истраживачи примењују у значајној мери, што се прати кроз статистике посећености репозиторијума преко одговарајућег модула Dspace-а и преко платформе Google Analytics. Усвајањем „Правилника о отворенoj науци” и уз лакши онлајн приступ за већи број корисника, створила се потреба да се реализују обуке за шири опсег библиотечко-информационих тема.

AB  - The repository of the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and the Innovation Center – Cherry presents a well-organized digital library of the institution’s scientific outputs. For the purpose of this paper a research was done on the change in the number of citations contained in the repository, based on data from the external application Authors, projects, publications. The application has integrated parameters for examining the number of citations from Scopus and Web of Science databases. In this paper the change in number of citations from publications which appear in Altmetric – a platform for alternative metric were also used. Two methods of research were applied: the first method examines the change in number of citations for all deposited records of publications in the repository, and the second method enables to examine the change in number of citations on the level of all records of a specific author. The author whose publications were examined for the research via the second method was pronounced the most cited author in the yearly report for 2021 of the Faculty of Chemistry. Both methods examine three types of records with varying levels of accessibility: permanetly restricted, available after an embargo period (green open access) and permanent open access (gold open access). The metadata of all three kinds of publications recorded in the Cherry repository are accessible to the public with strict control of the librarian – repository manager.The research subject of this paper notes the difference that arises in the number of citations of individual records in September 2021 and a year later, in September 2022. The aim of the paper is to present a possible method to establish a correlation between the accessibility of publications and their citation count. There is a special regard to publications in the green open access, which form the basis for monitoring the relevance of the repository to the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, and the Innovation Center as well as to other institutions which are parts of the established infrastructure of repositories in Serbia.
AB  - Репозиторијум Хемијског факултета Универзитета у Београду и Иновационог центра Cherry представља добро организовану дигиталну библиотеку научних резултата који се у оквиру тих институција реализују. За потребе овог рада истражена је промена броја цитата научних радова садржаних у репозиторијуму на основу екстерне апликације Аутори, пројекти, публикације у којој су интегрисани параметри за преглед броја цитата из индексних база Scopus и Web of Science. У раду се такође посматра и промена броја цитата код радова из репозиторијума који се појављују на платформи за алтернативну метрику Altmetric. Представљена су два метода истраживања, у првом се разматра промена броја цитата за све унете и цитиране записе радова у репозиторијуму, док се у оквиру другог промена броја цитата проучава на нивоу свих записа радова одређеног аутора. Онај чији су радови изабрани за други метод овог истраживања је у извештају Хемијског факултета за 2021. годину проглашен најцитиранијим аутором. Код оба метода се посматрају три врсте записа са различитим степеном доступности: трајно закључани, доступни након ембарго периода (зелени отворени приступ) и они који су потпуно у отвореном приступу (златни отворени приступ). Метаподаци свих врста записа радова у репозиторијуму Cherry су јавно доступни уз строгу контролу библиотекара – администратора репозиторијума. AB  - The paper analyzes the structure of employees in libraries attached to higher education institutions of the Republicof Serbia. Data on the level and profile of employee education for 2018 and 2013 were obtained from the LibraryNetwork of Serbia database. They show that in university libraries, highly educated employees make up 63% of thetotal number of employees. In the rest of the libraries that belong to the higher education institutions, which aremostly libraries with one employee, there are more of them (77%). Based on the data for 2018, considering the highereducation institution in which they work, and the faculty they graduated from, the librarians of the libraries thatbelong to the higher education institutions are classified into three groups: the first group consists of LIS graduates(7.23%), the second group includes librarians working in libraries of higher education units whose funds refer toscientific fields that they themselves studied (40%), while the third group includes librarians who are neither LISgraduates nor educated in the field for which the library is intended (53%). University libraries submit data on theeducational profile of their employees irregularly, which has made the research of the professional structure oflibrarians in these institutions impossible.
AB  - У раду се анализира структура запослених у универзитетским и високошколским библиотекама Републике Србије. Подаци о степену и профилу образовања радника за 2018. и 2013. годину добијени су из базе Мрежа библиотека Србије. Они показују да у универзитетским библиотекама високообразовани посленици чине 63% укупног броја радника. У високошколским библиотекама, које су у великом броју случајева библиотеке са једним запосленим, процентуално их је више, тачније 77%. Библиотекари високошколских библиотека у 2018. години су, с обзиром на високошколску установу у којој раде, завршени факултет и смер на том факултету, сврстани у три групе: прву чине они који имају диплому из области библиотекарства и информатике (7,23%), у другој су библиотекари који раде у библиотеци високошколске јединице чији се фонд односи на научне области које су и сами студирали (40%), док трећој групи припадају библиотекари чије образовање није из области библиотекарства и информатике, нити из области којима је библиотека намењена (53%). Универзитетске библиотеке несавесно достављају податке о образовном профилу својих запослених те се за њих није могла урадити никаква анализа, нити сазнати колико је библиотекара са дипломом из библиотечко- информационих наука.

AB  - The paper presents the principles underlying the functions of the Cherry digital repository at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Chemistry, and the Innovation Center, and explains why it was decided to use the DSpace software for the first repository of institution. Researchers' questions were considered during procedures of depositing new items in Cherry, as well as the answers provided by librarians during administrative data control. The research part of this paper deals with the repository visit statistics based on Google Analytics and the conclusions  that lead to the main goal – to increase the visibility and potential citations of research outputs.

AB  - The paper presents the structure of employees in public libraries according to the level and field of education. Data relating to 2018 and 2013 have been highlighted in order to determine the effect of the ban on public sector employment that was enacted at the end of 2013. It is evident that the number of employees with a high school degree and a college degree has decreased while the number of university graduates has increased. As it is not specified, at any level, who can do the job of a graduate librarian, the aim is to determine which professions are represented among the highly educated employees in public libraries. Employees with a bachelor's or master's degree in librarianship are grouped into a special category, in order to find out what percentage of the staff with higher education they make. The fact that the number of library users in Serbia is below all standards indicates that something needs to be changed. First of all, it would be good to examine the current situation in Serbia and study the regulations in the countries that are more advanced in this matter, and then to specify more explicitly what educational profiles should be represented in public libraries here. Balance should be found through the joint work of older and younger experts, those who have completed their studies at the Department of Library and Information Science, and those from other faculties, in order to find motivation and achieve a common goal - raising awareness of the importance of using libraries.
AB  - У раду је приказана структура кадра у јавним библиотекама Републике Србије према степену и области образовања. Издвојени су подаци за 2013. и 2018. годину како би се установио ефекат забране запошљавања у јавном сектору која је донета крајем 2013. Евидентно је да се број запослених са средњом и вишом стручном спремом смањио, док је број високообразованих повећан.
Како се у постојећем закону и националним стандардима који се односе на библиотечко-информациону делатност не издваја образовни профил дипломираног библиотекара као приоритетан приликом запошљавања, циљ је утврдити из којих струка долазе високообразовани запослени у јавним библиотекама. Као посебна категорија издвојени су упосленици са дипломом из области библиотекарства и информатике, да би се сагледало који проценат заузимају међу универзитетски образованим кадром.
Чињеница да је број корисника библиотека испод утврђеног стандарда, указује да је потребно променити нешто у начину рада јавних библиотека. За почетак би било добро преиспитати тренутно стање у Србији и проучити прописе земаља које су ово питање решиле на адекватнији начин те на основу тога експлицитније прописати који би образовни профили, у коликој мери, требало да буду заступљени у јавним библиотекама.
