Abstract
Relying exclusively on domestic raw materials and own technology, and by applying metallothermic processes (aluminothermic and silicothermic), the following ferroalloys have been obtained under semi-industrial conditions: ferrowolfram, ferroboron, ferrotitanium and ferroalloys of complex composition. The quantitative and qualitative composition of the metallothermic mixes and thermodynamic conditions of the process have been optimized for each ferroalloy. The obtained quality of ferroalloys justifies their industrial production, which can be accomplished practically without any investment.
