Sinteza derivata 6,7-dihidro-5H-pirano[3,2-d]tiazol-2-amina

AB  - Ugljeni hidrati čine 70% terestrijalne biomase. Poslednjih godina se sve veći značaj pridaje
hemiji ugljenih hidrata i upotrebi ovih prirodnih proizvoda u organskoj sintezi. Selektivnom
funkcionalizacijom ugljenih hidrata se dobijaju optički čiste gradivne jedinice što je od velikog
značaja za asimetričnu sintezu kompleksnih organskih molekula. S druge strane, rigidan sistem
koji sadrže ugljeni hidrati i stereohemijska definisanost asimetrično supstituisanih ugljenikovih
atoma su poželjne osobine novih biološki aktivnih molekula. Imajući to u vidu, razvoj novih
metodologija za sintezu heterocikličnih jedinjenja koja u svojoj strukturi sadrže motive ugljenih
hidrata je od velikog značaja. U ovom radu je optimizovana sinteza derivata 6,7-dihidro-5Hpirano[
3,2-d]tiazol-2-amina i njegovog etil-karbamata polazeći iz D-glukoze. Sinteza karbamata
je ostvarena linearnom sekvencom od 10 reakcionih koraka, a proizvod je dobijen u ukupnom
prinosu 13%. Dobijeno jedinjenje je sintetisano sa definisanom stereohemijom svih asimetrično
supstituisanih ugljenikovih atoma. U pojedinim reakcijama su izolovani intermedijeri koji su
detaljno karakterisani.

Synthesis, characterization and antimicrobial activity of cobalt(III) complex with (E)-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(2-(pyridin-2-ylmethylene)hydrazinyl)-1,3-selenazole

AB  - New cobalt complex with (E)-4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(2-(pyridin-2-ylmethylene)hydrazinyl)-1,3-selenazole (HL) was  synthesized and characterized in order to obtain biologically active compound. The complex was synthesized by the reaction of HL with cobalt(II) tetrafluoroborate. The complex was characterized by conductivity measurements, elemental analysis, FT-IR, 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectroscopy, while X-ray structural analysis (XRD) was used for molecular and crystal structure determination. XRD data elucidated that the complex has octahedral geometry with two ligands coordinated to cobalt(III) as tridentates, both in monoionic form, through pyridine, imine and selenazole nitrogen atoms (Fig. 1). In the outer sphere of the complex there is one tetrafluoroborate ion. The complex crystallizes as monohydrate. Antimicrobial activity of the ligand and complex was evaluated against eleven strains of bacteria and fungi. The complex showed better antibacterial than antifungal activity.
